Hospital LMS for every unit and every new hire
EducateMe is the AI-native LMS where your hospital trains every unit. AI turns your policies into courses and lets nurses practice patient conversations. Each unit gets its own plan, and every completion is recorded.

What gets in the way of hospital training today
Binders, spreadsheets, and hospital training software that stopped keeping up.
Every unit gets its own training plan. New hires start on day one, and nobody chases renewals.
Turn hospital policies into courses, then let nurses practice
Upload a policy or a protocol. The AI Assistant drafts a course with lessons and a quiz. Your educator reads it, fixes what is wrong, and publishes. Then learners practice the hard conversation with an AI patient, in a call or a chat.

Hospital LMS comparison: EducateMe vs HealthStream vs Relias
Is EducateMe the right LMS for hospitals like yours?
EducateMe fits hospitals that write their own policies and want new courses live in days. It is not the right LMS for hospitals that need a ready-made accredited course library or continuing education credits on day one. The two lists below give the detail.
A good fit
- Small and mid-size hospitals with their own policies and protocols
- Education teams that want new courses live in days, not months
- Hospitals leaving a contract for a library they barely use
Not the right fit
- You need a ready-made accredited course library on day one
- Nurses must earn continuing education credits inside the LMS
- You run 1,000 or more beds and need a long integration project
Pricing starts from $239 a month. Every plan comes with a 14-day free trial. See what each plan includes on the pricing page.

Most hospitals repeat HIPAA, bloodborne pathogens, infection prevention, fire safety, and workplace violence training, plus unit skills checks. Each topic has its own rule and its own cycle. You build each course from your policy and set who takes it and how often. Rules vary by state and by accreditor, so check yours.
| Training | Who takes it | How often | Rule behind it |
|---|---|---|---|
| HIPAA privacy and security | Everyone who can see patient information | At hire and when your policies change | HHS, 45 CFR 164.530 |
| Bloodborne pathogens | Anyone who may touch blood or body fluids | At first assignment, then every year | OSHA, 29 CFR 1910.1030 |
| Infection prevention | Everyone who works in patient areas | On the schedule your infection program sets | CMS, 42 CFR 482.42 |
| Fire and life safety | Everyone, with drills by unit | At hire and on your fire plan's schedule | CMS, 42 CFR 482.41 |
| Workplace violence prevention | Everyone, with more for the ED and behavioral units | At orientation and on a regular schedule | Your accreditor, such as The Joint Commission |
| Unit skills checks | Nurses and clinical teams, by unit | At orientation and when your policy says | Your accreditor and nursing policy |
Frequently asked questions
A hospital LMS, or hospital learning management system, is training software that assigns, tracks, and records the training each hospital department requires. EducateMe's hospital LMS is built for small and mid-size hospitals that write their own training. AI turns your policies into courses, and every completion stays on record for a survey. It does not include a ready-made accredited course library.
The best LMS for a small or mid-size hospital depends on where your courses come from. If you need a ready-made accredited library, HealthStream and Relias sell one. If you write your own policies, EducateMe's hospital LMS turns them into courses with AI, assigns them by unit, and keeps every completion on record. Its price is on the website, and most hospitals start within a few days.
EducateMe does not include a ready-made course library. You build HIPAA, OSHA, fire safety, and other required courses from your own policies, and the AI Assistant drafts them from the documents you upload. An educator reviews each course before it goes live. Courses you already own from another tool can be uploaded as SCORM files.
EducateMe tracks skills checks as assignments that an educator reviews. The nurse submits her notes or a file, and the educator marks it done. The date and the reviewer stay on her record. A course that repeats, such as an annual skills day, restarts on its due date and reminds her before the deadline.
Hospitals can switch from HealthStream or Relias to EducateMe in a few days. You import learners from a CSV file, tag them by unit, and upload SCORM courses you already own. A person from our team helps with the move. Ask us how to bring over past completion records before you start.
EducateMe connects to HR systems through Zapier or its API, so new hires can be enrolled without anyone sending invites. Single sign-on is set up through the same API. Ask us about your HR system before you start, and we will tell you how it connects.
EducateMe pricing starts from $239 a month, and every plan comes with a 14-day free trial. The starting price covers a set number of learners, and the pricing page shows how many. HealthStream and Relias do not publish a price on their LMS pages, so you get a quote from their sales team.
